VISION FOR PARTNERSHIP

At Sewa Samaj Vikas Sanstha (SSVS), we believe that lasting change is built through meaningful  partnerships. For over a decade, we have worked alongside rural women, marginal farmers, and  vulnerable communities in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra — one of India's most drought- affected and agrarian distress-prone landscapes. We invite funders, institutions, and like-minded organisations to join us in building a future where every woman has the dignity of economic  independence, every household has food security, and every community has the resilience to thrive.

SSVS brings over a decade of ground-level experience working in the most underserved villages of Beed District — built on deep community trust, participatory approaches, and a commitment to sustainable, long-term impact rather than short-term service delivery.

We work directly with women from marginal farmer households, landless labourer families, and Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Class communities — ensuring that the most excluded voices are placed at the centre of every programme.

Women’s Economic Empowerment

We support initiatives that strengthen self-help groups, improve financial literacy, and promote savings and credit linkages, enabling women to achieve financial independence, confidence, and long-term economic stability within their communities.

Agri-Livelihoods & Farmer Support

Our focus includes promoting climate-resilient agriculture, goat-based livelihood opportunities, and farmer producer collectives that enhance rural income generation, improve agricultural sustainability, and strengthen local economies.

Skill Development & Vocational Training

We empower rural women and youth by providing practical, income-generating skills through vocational training programs that improve employability, encourage entrepreneurship, and support sustainable livelihoods.

Health, Nutrition & Reproductive Rights

We work towards improving the well-being of women and adolescent girls through programs focused on anaemia prevention, maternal health awareness, reproductive health education, and access to better nutrition and healthcare knowledge.

Organisational Capacity Building

We strengthen community institutions by improving governance systems, supporting local leadership, and building the overall capacity of grassroots organizations to ensure sustainable development and long-term social impact.

Child Protection & Education

Our initiatives aim to prevent child labour, improve school retention, and establish strong community-based child protection systems that create a safer, healthier, and more supportive environment for children.

Types of Collaboration

We are open to a wide range of partnership models — from time-bound project grants to long-term institutional relationships — designed to strengthen sustainable community development in Marathwada.
