Documentation & Application Procedure Guidance

Sessions explain the importance of essential documents such as Aadhaar, ration cards, bank accounts, and identity proofs while guiding participants through application procedures and institutional access points to reduce exclusion errors and delays.

Strengthening Administrative Access & Accountability

The camps empower community members to confidently engage with government offices, banks, and local institutions, improving their ability to demand accountable service delivery and ensuring better inclusion within public support systems.

Our Work · Program 05
Farmers' Gathering (Shetkari Melava)

In rain-fed agrarian regions, small and marginal farmers often face challenges such as rising input costs, climate uncertainty, and limited market access. Farmer Melava (Shetkari Melava) serves as a structured consultative platform where farmers come together to discuss sustainable agricultural practices, collective farming models, and strategies that improve productivity, reduce risks, and strengthen long-term agricultural resilience.

Collective Farming Models & Cost Reduction

Participants are introduced to central and group farming approaches that encourage shared cultivation practices, pooled resources, and reduced input costs for seeds, fertilizers, irrigation, and labor, making farming more economically sustainable.

Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) Awareness

Sessions provide orientation on Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) as a powerful mechanism for collective bargaining, improved market linkage, better price realization, and stronger access to agricultural services and institutional support.

Climate Risk Management & Resource Sharing

Special focus is given to addressing climate vulnerability through shared risk management, water conservation practices, and community-led resource pooling strategies that help farmers improve resilience against drought and seasonal uncertainties.

Strengthening Farmer Coordination & Sustainable Systems

The platform encourages stronger farmer coordination, knowledge sharing, and awareness of organized agricultural systems that support long-term productivity, income stability, and sustainable rural development.

SHG Outcome Presentations & Experience Sharing

Women members present the progress and outcomes of their Self-Help Groups, including savings activities, internal lending, livelihood initiatives, and successful practices that can be replicated by other groups for stronger collective growth.

Identifying Priority Needs & Support Systems

Participants collectively discuss key community needs such as vocational training, market access, legal support, health services, and livelihood opportunities, helping women prioritize solutions and improve institutional access.

Promoting Leadership & Community Advocacy

The platform strengthens grassroots leadership by encouraging 3–4 women from each village to emerge as community advocates who actively support health awareness, sanitation improvement, governance participation, and local problem-solving.

Women’s Voice in Governance & Accountability
